Quick note before we dive in — transparency isn’t a legal checkbox for us, it’s just part of getting the method right. This page explains honestly how Meat Method generates revenue and how that does — or more often doesn’t — affect what we publish.
Our Advertising Policy
Meat Method uses Google AdSense to display advertising on this website. That means you may see ads on some pages that are automatically selected by Google based on the content of our website and/or your previous browsing behavior.
We do not choose these ads ourselves. Google determines which ads appear based on cookies and browsing data. Ad revenue helps us keep Meat Method free and accessible for everyone — so the temperature charts and technique breakdowns stay free, always.
You Are in Control
Don’t want to see personalized ads? No problem. You can adjust your advertising preferences at any time through:
- Google Ad Settings
- YourOnlineChoices for other ad networks
What Data Do Ads Collect?
Google AdSense may collect anonymous data through cookies, such as your browser type, general location, and interests. We never share personal data directly with advertisers. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and our own Privacy Policy.
No Affiliate Links
Meat Method does not use affiliate links. When we recommend a cut, a piece of equipment, or a technique tool — a thermometer, a cast iron pan, a specific cooking method — it’s because we genuinely use it and trust it, not because we earn anything from it. Every recommendation on this website is completely independent.
Sponsored Content
Meat Method may occasionally work with brands on sponsored content. When this happens, it will always be clearly disclosed at the top of the post with the label “Sponsored” or “In partnership with [brand].” Sponsored content is held to the exact same testing and editorial standards as our regular content — we only publish what we genuinely stand behind.
Products Received for Review
We may occasionally receive products from brands — equipment, thermometers, cuts of meat, or other tools — to test and review at no cost. Receiving a free product does not obligate us to publish a positive review in any way. Our opinions, and our test results, are always honest and independent. When a product has been received free of charge, we will say so clearly in the relevant post.
Clicks on Ads and Changes
Meat Method is not responsible for the content or policies of external websites reached through ads on this website. This disclosure may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page.
